OUR SERVICES
Our architects and engineers extend your ability to deliver projects in BIM. Our BIM capabilities vary from modelling LOD100 mass studies for architects, to providing detailed BIM models which cover architectural, structural and MEP designs in order to support the total design process. We can work on clash detection, construction planning and simulations but we can also support you in training your staff to become outstanding BIM-modelers.
1. BIM Modelling
We are a team of highly skilled and adaptable engineers, capable of delivering customized BIM modeling services for all disciplines. Our BIM models are carefully tailored and contain data and fabrication level details as required by the client. Depending on the required BIM output we can develop from LOD 100 to LOD 500.
2. 4D / 5D Construction
4D / 5D BIM services include construction animation, project scheduling and cost-estimation to control progress and cost on the construction site. Our 4D-scheduling services which include construction animation and project phasing can offer you peace of mind, knowing that your project is going in the right direction. Our 5D-estimating services ensure that your construction company can produce the Bills of Quantities to a degree of accuracy not possible traditionally.
3. Clash Detection
We offer full coordination of multidisciplinary models to help you avoid costly re-work and delays on construction sites. Using BIM, spatial coordination errors can be resolved in the design phase already, eliminating re-work and costly delays on the construction site.
4. As-Built Model
It sounds simple, delivering an as-built model after (re)construction works. But with years of experience, we know it can be a lot of work. Based on the red-line revisions that the construction company has sent us, we can produce the as-built model for you. We also understand what needs to be in the model if it will be used in the operational, facility management phase.
5. Facility Management
We have a lot of experience in providing data-rich, as-built models and COBie data extraction to ensure that your building will have the correct foundations for efficient and clear life cycle strategies. Based on a 3D scan on site or an existing as-built Architectural model, we will optimize the BIM model for the operation of the building or integrate it with facility management systems. We can advise on the integration of your BIM and FM system into a CDE platform.
OUR TEAM
Our BIM Manager, Engineer Eslam Magdy, has extensive experience working in the Building Information Modelling & Management field in positions of BIM leadership roles. He holds Autodesk Official Certifications as “Silver Certified Instructor” as well as “Certified Professional”, and has founded several BIM Units such as the BIM departments for Arkan Consultants and HDG Developers in Egypt. Magdy has worked on large projects in several countries such as the new Al-Adal Hospital in Kuwait, Al-Asaiya Hotel in Saudi Arabia and Dahshour Strip Mall in Egypt.
In person, Magdy is known by his colleagues and team members for his outgoing nature and exceptional leadership skills. Through his ability to bring the best out of his team, his remarkable attention to detail, and his determination to work to only the highest of standards, Eslam is leading the NAB BIM department into a new and bright future of technologically-driven engineering.
