Ras Al Salmiya Club is a beachfront family property (area of approximately 26,100 sqm) that is looking for a complete identity change, resurfacing, extension, renovations, and modern design for its facilities and their members. The new beach club includes multiple pools, changing areas, restaurants for both members and off-site visitors with separate access points and security gates, new parking areas, tennis and basketball courts, running track, view vistas, and more.
This gas station and rest stop competition entry is located on one of the major highways leading to the North of Kuwait. It is proposed to be designed as a landmark that can be visible from miles away while speeding down on the highway. The design started off as resembling a pin location on a map, with the highest peak in the middle and striations to the left and right of the central store. One side is designed for commuter cars while the other is designed for trucks carrying loads and merchandise. The rest area serves as a community space that is landscaped as well as provides parking, cafes, a small grocery store, a children’s play area, relief areas, and a gas station.
